BCX Energy provides clean tech solutions via two business units: one focusing on solar PV (electric) and the other on air quality. As solar EPC contractors, BCX is your one-stop-shop for residential and commercial projects; executing in all phases from engineering to procurement to construction.

In addition, BCX is Rhode Island’s only air quality specialty firm; and they service the global market having conducted projects throughout the USA, Caribbean region, the Middle East and Asia. The air quality unit performs work in the industrial, commercial, petro-chemical, and power generation sectors. Their specialties include consulting for compliance, testing, dispersion modeling, as well as noise and industrial hygiene monitoring.

Keith Boivin solar EPC contractors

Keith Boivin

With over 25 years experience working with companies such as Texas Instruments and armed with a passion for renewable energy, Keith Boivin leads the solar division of BCX Energy. Keith is a true professional with over half a dozen certifications in his field. He is a long-standing member of IEEE, ASHRAE, and NABCEP and received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Michael Cahill

Michael Cahill leads BCX’s air quality business unit. He has nearly 30 years of experience environmental and manufacturing engineering. He’s a Registered Professional Engineer, an accredited LEED Green Associate (GA), Qualified Source Test Individual (QSTI), US EPA Method 9 certified for visible emissions determination and an authorized ISO Quality Systems Assessor for the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Bryant University.
