ISO & Accreditation in the Middle East

Over eight years ago, the FIFA Executive Committee convened to determine the location of the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup. Qatar was ultimately chosen as the official host, beating out four other countries vying to bring this international championship home.

For those unfamiliar with the middle eastern country, Qatar is roughly 850 times smaller than the United States and is the smallest country ever to be awarded a FIFA world cup. Additionally, each world cup in the past twelve years has brought in over 3,000,000 attendees!

Industrial Noise Control to Improve Operational Efficiency

As an environmental and manufacturing engineer, sound control and hearing protection has been a passion of mine for years. In fact, I even study it closely outside of my day gig (I'm a drummer)! 

Excessive industrial noise can have harmful long-term effects on workers. “Industrial noise” refers to sound levels that exceed the reasonable range in the industrial work environment.
